    Celebrating 20 Years of Excellence

This year we will take a look back at how far the 9-1-1 industry in Texas has come as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Texas NENA Chapter. While celebrating the past, we will also look to the future as industry professionals share their insights into the next generation of 9-1-1.

In conjunction with our annual conference, we are pleased to again co-sponsor the annual Telecommunicator Awards with the Commission on State Emergency Communications. The events of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita serve to remind us how critical everyone’s role in public safety is, especially the unsung heroes of public safety…the 9-1-1 telecommunicators. They play a vital role in saving lives and property everyday. We hope to see you there!

Sincerely,
Lisa Dodson, ENP
Texas NENA Chapter President
