GENERAL INFORMATION

The conference will provide an opportunity to meet with more than 300 of the leaders in 9-1-1 and emergency communications from around the state and region. There is an emphasis on educational and networking activities. You will have an opportunity to see the latest equipment and products available.

This joint conference is designed to provide training for the front line telecommunicators, educational sessions and networking opportunities for all involved in 9-1-1 emergency communications, and addressing some of the major issues as well as operational challenges encountered in day-to-day activities.

Of course, following tradition, we have scheduled the training seminars around the telecommunicators. See the tentative agenda for more information on these seminars.

DRESS: We are at the beach! Dress is casual –

WEATHER: October is usually delightful on the coast, but the evenings are beginning to cool off, so you may want to bring a sweater. There is always a chance of stormy weather during the late hurricane season.

HILTON INFORMATION

The Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort is located directly on the ocean at the north end of Myrtle Beach. The hotel has an oceanfront restaurant open daily and a poolside restaurant open seasonally. The lounge is located on the 2^nd floor overlooking the lobby & ocean side. There is an outdoor pool and fitness facility on site.
