The Annual NENA Conference and Trade Show, which brings together 9-1-1 center managers, directors, technology specialists and policy leaders for training, education and dialogue, attracts more than 2,000 attendees from across the country who are uniquely focused on 9-1-1 issues. The 6-day conference includes expert panels and educational sessions, an innovative exhibit hall, special networking opportunities, and high quality keynote speakers.

In the last few years, Charlotte has gained a national reputation for its appealing downtown center, which attracts more than half a million convention attendees each year. All NENA conference activities will take place at the Charlotte Convention Center, which is within walking distance to nearly 100 restaurants and eateries, as well as three art, history and science museums and two performance houses. For sports fans, Charlotte is the home to the winning NFL Carolina Panthers, as well as the NBA Charlotte Bobcats, WNMA Charlotte Sting, NASCAR and Lowes Motor Speedway.
