CANADA IS NOW A NENA REGION
On Monday, March 1, 1999, at the National Emergency Number Association -Technical Development Conference (NENA TDC), Leah Senitte (present NENAPresident) has officially announced that the Canadian provinces were now part ofa NENA Canada Region.
For the time being, Ron Bonneau, North CentralRegion Vice President, will represent the new NENA Canada Region at the NENABoard.
A Canada meeting was hosted, on Wednesday March 3, 1999 at 07:00 AM, withnumerous members of the Canadian delegation attending the NENA TDC 99 Workshop,in order to introduce Ron and to allow him to begin assessing the Canadaspecific needs.
