(15) CONFIDENTIALITY OF RECORDS.Any record or information obtained by a public agency or a publicsafety agency for the purpose of providing services in anemergency and which reveals the name, address, or telephonenumber of any person requesting emergency service or reporting anemergency by accessing an emergency telephone number”911″ system is exempt from the provisions orS.119.07(1), except that such record or information may bedisclosed to a public safety agency. The exemption applies onlyto the name, address, or telephone number of any person reportingan emergency while such information is in the custody of thepublic agency or public safety agency which receives the initial”911″ telephone call.
This exemption is subject to theOpen Government Sunset Review Act in accordance with S.119.14.
