The Orleans Parish Communication District, administrators of the NewOrleans Emergency 9-1-1 System, will host a series of presentations anddemonstrations of new 9-1-1 Technologies, Wireless 9-1-1 issues, andInformation on meeting the facility needs for a the 21st Century 9-1-1 CallCenter (PSAP).
This meeting will allow 9-1-1 Board Members and Staff, PSAP Supervisors,Call Takers and Dispatchers to have the opportunity to preview and get hands onexperience with the latest 9-1-1 technology, to become informed about somecritical issues facing 9-1-1, and perhaps most importantly, to meet, greet andinterface with each other in a setting that will promote the exchange of ideasby and between the people who do 9-1-1 on a daily basis.
THESE PRESENTATIONS ARE AVAILABLE FREE for9-1-1 Public Safety Officials and Personnel from New Orleans and thesurrounding area. If you receive this notice, you and the members of youragency are invited.
