The 19th Annual 9-1-1 Telecommunications and Public Safety Conference will be held at the Prairie Capitol Convention Center, in Springfield, IL. October 26-29, 2003. The vendor area will in the convention center (upper level), which will allow for up to 90 booths. All booths will be on first come first serve basis and must be accompanied with payment in full.  Please don’t wait to secure a booth as all available booths for the past several years have been sold. 

There will be a hospitality event in the vendor area on Sunday evening starting at 6:30 P.M.  Vendor hours for Monday will be 10:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., and Tuesday 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. There will be exclusive vendor exhibit hours on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday this year.  There will be exclusive vendor exhibit hours on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday this year.

The Conference Committee requests that vendors do not dismantle their displays until after 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday. All vendors are invited to the banquet and party/show to be held on Monday evening. In addition, the vendor area will close during the lunch hour on Tuesday to allow vendors to participate in the luncheon.

The Conference Committee is arranging for another great dinner/dance event on Monday night, October 27th. Also, there will be a drawing on Wednesday, October 29th at the closing session.  Conference attendees will need to be present to win.  If you would like to donate an item for the drawing and receive special recognition, please contact our general arrangements chairman Ms. Kathy Monken at 618 277-7316 X107.

The host hotel for the conference this year is the Hilton-Springfield which is located directly across the street from the convention center.  The overflow hotel is The Renaissance Hotel, located adjacent to the convention center.   Vendors are responsible for making their own lodging reservations.   Booklets showing a complete agenda for the conference will be available at registration.
