Dear Vendor:

The 19th Annual 9-1-1 Telecommunications and Public Safety Conference will be held at the Prairie Capitol Convention Center in Springfield, IL, October 26^th-29^th, 2003. The vendor area will in the convention center (upper level), which will allow for up to 90 booths. Booth space will be assigned on a first come, first served basis upon receipt of a completed application accompanied by payment in full. Please don’t wait to secure a booth because, over the past four years, all available booth space has been sold. There will be a hospitality event in the vendor area on Sunday evening starting at 6:30 P.M.  Vendor hours for Monday will be 10:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., and Tuesday 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. There will be exclusive vendor exhibit hours on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday this year.

The Conference Committee requests that vendors do not dismantle their displays until after 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday. All vendors are invited to the banquet, party, and show to be held on Monday evening, as well as the luncheon on Tuesday.

The Conference Committee is arranging for another great dinner/dance event on Monday night, October 27^th.  Also, there will be a drawing on Wednesday, October 29^th at the closing session. Conference attendees will need to be present to win. If you would like to donate an item for the drawing and receive special recognition, please contact our general arrangements chair, Ms. Kathy Monken at (618) 277-7316, ext. 107.

The host hotel for the conference is the Hilton-Springfield, and the overflow hotel will be The Renaissance Hotel located adjacent to the convention center. Vendors are responsible for making their own hotel reservations. This will be the only mailing that you will receive regarding the vendor area this year. Programs showing a complete agenda for the conference will be available at registration.
