We employee 28 Fire Communications Officers who serve asprimary call takers for our Parish 9-1-1 system. We receiveapproximately 250,000 9-1-1 calls per year. Our average employeeturnover rate over the past four years is approximately 13%.
You may want to check the APCO web site for information on arecent study that puts the average turnover rate at somethingjust over 17%.
