By pooling their resources, these
two leaders in emergency communications have arranged for
industry leaders to share their knowledge to update you on the
current state of Phase I and Phase II implementation and the
steps you need to take to assure your agency is ready to use
this new technology. The forum will review the basics of
preparation, the concept of technologies now being deployed by
the wireless carriers, and important points you need to review
at your agency. There will be ample opportunity for interaction
with these deployment experts, and the chance to dispel or
clarify the many rumors you’re hearing. For more information,
contact NENA or APCO, or visit http://www.apco911.org/conference/Forum.pdf.
APCO will be handling registrations for this forum. |

NENA hosts several Critical Issues Forums each year to
inform and educate industry professionals about important national
issues that challenge 9-1-1. While CIF topics vary, the forums are
usually attended by individuals from both the public and private sectors
of the industry. Many CIFs include in-depth discussion about these
important issues.
Please check back or call NENA
Headquarters for more information about upcoming NENA CIFs.
