STUDY GROUP BEGINS MARCH 1st… Join at anytime!
Have you considered sitting for the Emergency Number Professional Certification test? Texas NENA will be holding ENP Study Group Conference Calls every Wednesday at 2:00pm CST beginning March 1st and will run through September. The purpose of these one hour meetings will be to review relevant subject matter, found within the various resources recommended by NENA, in order to prepare for the examination. These calls will be lead by various NENA members who have graciously agreed to share their knowledge. Participants will be able to ask questions and contribute input, as well. A 2006 Study Group Conference Call Schedule is now available. You may elect to join the study group every week or you may opt to select specific weeks. Either way, you are sure to enjoy this learning opportunity and become more confident in all aspects of your profession. The NENA Institute Board has approved an electronic testing program for all ENP examinations beginning with a two-week period from April 8-22. There will be two examination periods each year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall. This years Fall examinations will be October 14-28. Application deadlines are March 1 and September 1, respectively, for the Spring and Fall examination periods this year. A tentative “review” session is in the planning stages to be held at the annual TENA Conference. The ENP Exam will not be offered during the conference due to electronic testing. AN ADDED BONUS!
